Another month has come and gone, and I’ve been hustling to keep up with everything that’s going on. If you’ve been paying attention, then you know that the first three D-Evolution books are available now pretty much anywhere you can buy an ebook. You can also get paperback editions from Amazon and Barnes and Noble. It bears mentioning that the first book in the series, Deceit, is available to download for free.
So, what else have I been up to? Well, outside of trying to defeat the endless army of ants that seem to have a million secret ways into our kitchen, I’ve been working hard to finish my personal edits on the final two books in the D-Evolution series. Deicide (book #4) is nearly ready to go now. All I have to do is touch up two minor scenes with some details that will tie-in to the next series of books I’m writing, and then it’ll be ready for the professional’s chainsaw—er—I mean, pen.
I’ve just started the personal edits on Downfall (book #5), and I’m digging in for the long haul. It’s the last book in the saga, and I want to end with a strong finish. I want this series to be one that people hang on to and read again and again through the years. Not only that, the tale is currently weighing in at a meaty 265K words. That’s about 50K more words than Deceit (book #1) and that book ended up being 650 pages long in a 6” x 9” format. Suffice it to say, Downfall is going to be one enormous book.
Finally, I’m completing the hardcover versions of the first three books. I expect to receive the final proofs this week and, barring any strangeness, press the ‘go’ button shortly thereafter. Those versions should be available to purchase on both Amazon and Barnes and Noble. You can check out the covers below.
